More Details

Join Trinity Coalition at our booth at TRWD Flyfest 2020 on the Clear Fork of the Trinity River in Fort Worth. Sponsored by the Tarrant Regional Water District. Whether you are an experienced angler or have never touched a fly rod, this fun day in and along the Trinity River in Fort Worth has something to hook everyone in the whole family. To create an optimal angling experience, the Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) will release 1,800 lbs. of Rainbow Trout in the festival location in addition to the nearly 3,000 Texas native fish stocked annually.

There will be multiple expert presentations from nationally known fly fishers, fly tying lessons, casting classes and Big Trout Fishing Competition! Other activities include cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, craft beer, food trucks and kids activities like a rock climbing wall, kid fish tank and face painting. And it’s all free!

Areas will be designated for “Open Fishing” for those bait fishing or those using a fly to take advantage of the stocking.

Check out www.trwdflyfest.com to sign up for the Big Trout Contest and schedule details!
