And the winning location for the Day After Christmas Paddle is (in a close race) Frasier Dam Recreation Area. We will meet at the Frasier Dam Recreation area at 10:00AM. We will paddle out to the main channel of the Trinity River and turn up the river for a mile or two, then return to the rec area for a picnic lunch. After lunch we will hike or bike the trails in the rec area.

Rental boats (with vests and paddles) are available for $45 per person. If renting you must use the link below to reserve and prepay your boat.

If you have your own boat, the event is free, though tips for the guide and donations to Trinity Coalition are appreciated. PFD's are required and must be worn at all times on the water.

Bring: Picnic lunch, drink for in the boat, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, layered clothing (no cotton). A change of clothes in case of a capsize is always a good idea.

If you want to check out the trail by bicycle instead of foot after the paddle, bring your bike.
