Celebrate Parks and Trails Cleanup Month by participating in our Adopt-a-Stream cleanup with Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful. This is a chance to paddle a Texas Parks and Wildlife Paddle Trail and help the environment at the same time. Best of all--it's free!

Saturday May 21 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Loyd Park 3401 Ragland Rd, Grand Prairie.

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY!
We will launch from Loyd Park on Joe Pool Lake and paddle the Walnut Creek Paddle Trail, stopping to remove the pockets of trash that inevitably finds it's way to the creek. Normally it is $15 per car to get into the park, but volunteers for this cleanup get in free, and if you need a boat those are free as well so long as you preregister on the Grand Prairie Volunteer site and request a boat before Wednesday May 18 at 5 PM.
Boxed Lunches will be provided for the pre-registered volunteers.

Once you register with Grand Prairie you will be sent a PDF of the pass you will need to get into the park for free.
